Steve Barnes
Steve Barnes’ leadership perspective was forged in the high-intensity world of Hendrick Automotive Group and Hendrick Motorsports. His work has taken him into the heart of complex teams across the United States, from corporate offices to military installations. He has led field training supporting over 10,000 teammates and streamlined onboarding processes to boost operational effectiveness. This journey taught him one simple truth: most friction in life isn’t caused by a lack of effort; it’s caused by a lack of alignment.

As a naturally disciplined team builder, Steve has learned that real progress requires a logical foundation and a sustainable pace. Steve doesn’t believe in stuffy manuals; instead, he believes in human design. By identifying the specific "spark" God has placed in every individual, he helps teams and families move at an effective pace, rather than recklessly.

Steve serves as a Syzygy teammate because he has seen the true cost of failing to live or work as designed: a loss of joy and the heavy burden of stress carried home to marriages and children. Grounded in his faith and service at his local church, Steve walks alongside his partners to help clear that friction. His mission is to help others flourish holistically—both in the workplace and at home.
